UPDATE: I'm currently updating my website and in the process reworking a ton of images. This is one of them.
This was shot at the same time as a series called "Late Night Conversations" (I posted one of them a while ago: ...that I'm seriously fucked.)
Without seeing it in the context of the series, I guess it comes off as more conceptual.. but, for me, it was always very grounded. Of the whole "shoot", this was the image I wanted to get.. and I got it.
Sometimes we need a way out... and sometimes we're willing to escape by any means necessary.
This wasn't available for comment before, so I figured I'd just open it up comments.. cuz.. well.. why the hell not?
I realized that I haven't posted any sort of goofy fun shots... and then i realized that I don't actually have any like that! let me see what I can dig up for you folks.
Model - `arachnid15 who was willing to crawling into a nasty dirty oven for my shot..
I like how you added some subtlety to what he's trying to do with so much of the ordinary setting of the kitchen showing in the image and much of his body hidden in shadow. Great execution and concept, Katie.
Great shot, hun. the picture seems to be so defined by the two parts- the bright top half and the dark, dingy lower half. great focus and a fantastic idea
No.. I do not believe that have. Dimensions would present a problem, I imagine. But if a grown person *could* fit into an oven.. perhaps there would be more attempts.
