I know i'm not easy to deal with... i know the pressure i put on you and i know that i am incapable of helping you the way you've helped me. I may be worthless to you.. i may be useless and easily replaced.. easy to discard when the novelty wears off and reality sets in. But god fucking damn it, you will remember me.

But... shit. THIS is a picture. These kinds of pictures can teeter dangerously on the edge of self-indulgence or just pure cheese, but... hell, all other pictures of this type are just pretenders to the throne. This, I think, is the best thing I've ever seen of its type. I can't recall any similar pictures that didn't at least jab at me a little with melodrama or overstatement... but this one is simultaneously brutal, attention-grabbing, and subtle. Not quite sure how you pulled that off, but I'll be damned if you didn't. You again prove your talents, not only at the raw art of photography but at choosing models that work exactly like you need them to. She looks great, I really liked this photo. --        aka Tzachi Gvaram useless? or helpless?
She is too 'clean'. eye make, and lips, perfect. the dirt, too precise, not dirty enough, not smudged enough, rubbed into the hairline, hair too tidy. Not enough 'strain' on the bonds, they look loose. HOWEVER, the look in her eye is perfect, she has excellent expression, and is a great model. The concept is good, for me it needs more attention to detail, then it would be a winner... |
