I seriously have the greatest friends ever. Hands down, no questions asked, my friends fucking rock. My friends could kick your friends' asses any day!!

=jumpingbean and I went out to lunch today.. we had an art trade to do, wanted to celebrate our birthdays (YES IT'S HER BIRTHDAY TOO! GO SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Janet, you've officially been outed), and just hang out cuz we hadn't seen each other in a while.

So in the middle of Macaroni Grill, she pulls out a present and has be practically bawling in public.

My wonderful friends, =LovittGirl, ^arachnid15, =cosfrog, ^wynnesome, *kahl, *Melara, =jumpingbean, *jzcj5, $fangedfem, ^LawrenceDeDark, =quietchildae, =RestemaIII, and (last but never least) `Davenit all pitched in and got me a day at the spa. A really fucking nice spa.

Thank you.. thank you all of you so damn much Words can't begin to explain how grateful I am!! And to all of my wonderful friends that wanted to pitch in and weren't able to, oh thank you so very very much too It means more to me than I could ever say that you would even *consider* doing something so ridiculously nice for me.

Janet then spent a good portion of the lunch explaining to me what I should do at the spa I'm not the most typical girl. I've never been to a spa in my life and I have no clue the last time that I even walked past one. I've never had a manicure and my idea of treating myself to a "facial" is getting the Apricot Scrub from St Ives at the drugstore So this will be a treat. A real fucking treat. so.... what exactly is a facial and why do i want one? ... ya'll are gonna teach me to be a girl just yet


*sigh*.. i'm blissed out. And i still can't find a way to thank you enough. Today I realized that there are people out there that love and care about me... for someone like me, that's hard to fathom... but I want you to know that I love you right back. **happy tears welling up again**

PS.. what's cool about this spa is that as long as i get a treatment that's over $55, I can spend the WHOLE DAY there enjoying their free saunas, and showers, steam rooms, and whirpools. That's like.. awesome!! ... how the hell is a sauna different from a steam room tho?!
