Announcement: Architecture has a new subcategory!

The new sub-category of "Bridges and Suspended Structures" has been added to the Photography > Architecture gallery on dA.

Now.. you may ask.."But isn't there already a Bridges and Suspended Structures in the Urban and Rural gallery? Why are you trying to confuse me?!"

Take a deep breath.. this is a good thing, promise!

Urban and Rural is meant for photography that showcases how we, humans, live. It's for Cityscapes and Skylines, Country/City Life scenes and Industrial. Bridges and Suspended Structures are part of how we will and part of our urban/rural landscape.

Architecture is ...obviously... for photography that showcases architecture. Bridges and Suspended Structures are, very often, architectural marvels and photography that underlines, emphasizes, and documents the architecture fits into this category perfectly.

So how do you decide where to post? Well.. just think of it this way, is your photograph more about the architectural wonder of the bridge.. or more about its place in the urban/rural landscape of our lives? Either way you choose, don't worry.. Submission and MisCat Police won't come knocking on your door

Old submissions from Photography > Architecture > Exterior that showcase bridges and suspended structures have not been moved to the new category and if you would like to do so yourself, you are highly encouraged.
